AM Surfaces specialise in 2 pack epoxy resin based products ranging from screed repairs to rolling out large resin coated industrial floors to which the same care is taken big or small. We have dedicated team who are all very experienced in all epoxy resin paint and screed applications.

All works undertaken from preparation stages - shot blasting / diamond grinding / acid washing, to repairing the floor areas with holes, cracks etc, then applying epoxy resins by trowel, pin rake or rollers depending on finish required by specification quoted.

In this system a highly light stable resin is mixed with stone aggregate and applied as a thick relatively smooth screed. Larger aggregates are possible and there is virtually no limit to the depth. The size of stone is however normally limited to 10mm. The surface can be trowelled or tamped and have an open or closed texture. The resin coating enhances the natural colour of the stone.

Both driveway / paths flooring systems have the marked advantage over cement-based alternatives in that they are rapid curing and more flexible. Reasonable movement of a substrate can be accommodated and this is important on flexible bitumen macadam surfaces.

These systems can be applied over concrete, bitumen macadam, metal, timber and many other surfaces accepting both foot and vehicles parking.

Resin decorative is a tough surface dressing material that combines tough but flexible resins with a range of attractive stones/aggregates. The surface has a natural looking stone that is very hard wearing and requires little maintenance in normal use.

Decorative stone resin bonded and resin encapsulated coatings for drives, pathways, pedestrian concourses, patios and other areas where an attractive surface appearance is required.

Unlike many systems, Resin decorative cures very quickly, disruption is minimal and a surface can be returned to full use in about 12 hours depending on temperature. It will also cure at low temperatures, has excellent adhesion qualities and does not embitter with age.
